Simulator

The Hulme F1 was a proposed sports car to be manufactured by New Zealand boutique company Hulme Supercars Ltd. Its name was a tribute to the 1967 Formula One World Champion, New Zealander Denny Hulme. It was to be powered by the 7.0 L LS7 V8 sourced from the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and produces 600 hp (447 kW). However, mated to a 2,182.7 lb (990.1 kg) weight gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 3.6 lb (1.6 kg) per hp.

The sitting position of this car was used as an example for the design of the simulator.

A design drawing of the Hulme F1 has been used and converted into a concept plan of how the salon table should look like in which the simulator is included.

A technical drawing is composed to visualise the construction. To make the drawings easier to understand, familiar symbols, perspectives, units of measurement, notation systems, visual styles, and page layout are used. Technical drawings are understood to have one intended meaning.

From the two-dimensional images a mathematical representation was developed in 3 dimensions. Gaming components of the former XBox 360 included to take a closer look on how it's gonna be after creating the "table".

What can you tell about a salon table, nothing.

The result is the ultimate home-made  Simracing cockpit  play seat. Build in a salon table. Ready to use just by removing the tabletop and folding up the wheel.

The simulator is equipped with a Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel - Ferrari 458 Italia Edition and a detachable Ferrari F1 add-on wheel to use with the TX Racing Wheel Series.

The first Force Feedback consumer wheel with an industrial brushless motor. Has a removable handlebar and a metal pedal set.

The Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On is a life-size replica of the Formula 1 Ferrari 2011 wheel, officially licensed by Ferrari. The wheel’s design and ergonomics will meet the expectations of even the biggest fans of Formula 1 and of the iconic Ferrari brand. Its textured rubber grip allows for realistic and comfortable handling.

With its reinforced brushed metal faceplate for optimal solidity and inertia, the Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-On truly stands out from the pack thanks to its exceptional sturdiness.
